Sage the Disappearance.

The various Sage lines in the Inverness area vanish, by 1841 effectively they are gone. Unfortunately they did not leave a address, just said to the last one to 'Turn out the lights' or was it 'Thanks for the fish.'
Some have been traced down to the West coast, around Glasgow, most just go. The most likely thing that happened to them, if they survived, would be emigration.

Sage the Appearance.

Sages appear in the Glasgow area whose Father has not been established. Most of these must have come from the Inverness or Perth areas.

Possible Parents.

Since the people in Inverness must have departed and People arrived suddenly in Glasgow it it fair to connect them.

• Elizabeth Sage could be Sister to one of the John Sages. They would require a parent born about 1724, The obvious one would be Donald Sage born about 1720. However William Sage 1716 or James Sage 1719 would also suit.
• John Sage the other one would need a different parent of roughly the same age and any of the three would be possible.
• Mary Sage and John Sage1797 could be Brother/Sister and a parent born between 1765 and 1774. Duncan Sage would be most likely as we know he had a Niece born in Glasgow.
• Donald Sage and William Sage need a parent born between 1795 and 1804 and a suitable one would be John Sage 1795.
• The final William Sage born 1829 has no obvious parent.
• Robert Sage born in Ayr is one of three that appear to be some unknown group of Sages.
• Henry Sage is such a unique name in Scotland that he must be a Visitor.
